I fell in love with print before working in the industry. I took classes at the Center for Book Arts in New York City where I learned letterpress printing, book binding, and print making. My first job working at Kate’s Paperie in their letterpress department with handmade papers, creating hand bound books, specialty die-lines for packaging, and custom prints was my heaven. Years later when the industry turned to all things digital, I held onto the standards I had working with film, continuous tone, and it served me well on press checks around the globe.
